About
A One-of-a-Kind Permanent Jewelry Experience Welcome to Melt & Link, Tampa Bay’s premier destination for permanent jewelry and custom welded designs. We specialize in high-quality, clasp-less jewelry crafted from 14k, 18k, and 24k gold-filled, rose gold, and .925 sterling silver—never stainless steel. Our mission is simple: quality over profit, always. ✨ Find Us Popping Up Around Tampa Bay You’ll find us at local boutiques, coffee shops, and special events across Palm Harbor and the greater Tampa Bay area. We love collaborating with other small businesses to bring our signature pop-up jewelry bar to your favorite local spots. We also offer a limited number of private appointments at select partner locations, including Cruz by Design in Palm Harbor. 🥂 Host a Private Party The ultimate Melt & Link experience happens in your own space. Host a private permanent jewelry party at your home, business, or beach rental with family and friends. Our exclusive, in-home experiences are relaxed, intimate, and unforgettable—custom-fit jewelry, laughter, bubbles, and memories welded together. 💎 Custom Designs, Welded With or Without the Clasp Prefer something less permanent? We also create custom welded jewelry with clasps, handcrafted to your size and style, then shipped anywhere in the U.S. Perfect for gifting or sharing a symbolic connection with loved ones near or far. 🌿 Ethically Sourced, Locally Made We’re proud to source 100% of our materials within the United States—from trusted distributors in California, Texas, and the Northeast. We never import from overseas suppliers. Supporting small, ethical American businesses is at the heart of everything we do. 💖 Licensed, Experienced, and Military-Affiliated As a licensed permanent jewelry artist with over four years of experience, Amelia has proudly served the Tampa Bay area with craftsmanship, safety, and integrity. Melt & Link is female-owned and military-affiliated, built on a foundation of authenticity, artistry, and community—one link at a time. Please be aware that not all permanent jewelry artists are trained or licensed. Some individuals have purchased welding machines online without professional instruction, which can lead to burns, electric shock, improper sizing, or damaged metals—resulting in injury or loss of your investment. At Melt & Link, we adhere to the highest safety and quality standards to ensure every experience is as secure as it is beautiful. 🔍 Know Your Metals: Understanding Your Options When it comes to permanent jewelry, not all metals are created equal. There are four main types of materials you’ll see used by artists and retailers: 1. Stainless Steel or PVC-Coated – The lowest-quality option, often inexpensive but prone to rust, discoloration, and allergic reactions. 2. Gold Plated / Vermeil – What you’ll find in most boutiques or mall stores like Claire’s. These pieces are made from pot metal coated with a thin layer of gold. When the coating wears off, the exposed base metal oxidizes, causing tarnish and irritation. 3. Gold-Filled – The industry standard for quality permanent jewelry. It features a thicker layer of gold pressure-bonded over sterling silver or another base metal. It’s waterproof, durable, and long-lasting — this is what Melt & Link proudly carries. 4. Solid Gold – While called “solid,” even solid gold is an alloy, since pure 24k gold is too soft for daily wear. It’s mixed with small amounts of other metals (like copper or silver) for strength and to create variations such as yellow, rose, and white gold. At Melt & Link, we educate every client on the differences so you can make an informed, lasting investment. 💰 Your Investment in Quality At Melt & Link, we believe jewelry should be both beautiful and built to last. Every piece we create is made from premium gold-filled, sterling silver, or solid gold materials—never stainless steel. If you’re shopping for permanent jewelry, here’s what to know: A true gold-filled bracelet should cost no less than $70. Anything lower is almost certainly stainless steel, even if it’s marketed otherwise. On the other end, you shouldn’t pay over $100 for gold-filled, as those prices are in the solid gold range. We offer transparent, investment-based pricing that reflects honest craftsmanship: Bracelets start at $79 each Charms start at $25 each Anklets, rings, toe rings, and necklaces can be mixed and matched with stacked pricing—the more you layer, the better the value. Solid gold pieces start at $125 and go up, depending on the chain and style. We keep our pricing fair, our materials genuine, and our craftsmanship unmatched. 🔗 We Stand Behind Our Work Your jewelry is an investment, and we stand behind every piece we create. If your jewelry breaks, stretches, or catches on something, we’ll reweld or repair it to ensure it looks and feels as perfect as the day it was made. We also offer repair services for permanent jewelry from other artists. Keep this in mind when choosing where to get linked—some artists do not fix, replace, or reweld damaged chains, leaving you to replace your investment entirely. At Melt & Link, your jewelry and satisfaction always come first. Whether you’re treating yourself or creating a lasting memory with someone special, Melt & Link delivers timeless jewelry that’s made to move with you—to sweat, shine, and live beautifully. We can’t wait to link with you. ❤️ Amelia, Founder of Melt & Link We look forward to collaborating with you at your next event, popping up at your business, or showing up at your next family gathering.
